As a lifelong Miami, Florida resident, Nicole Alvarez has over a decade of experience in the courtroom. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida and then went on to graduate from Stetson University’s College of Law in 2005.
She immediately went on to be a prosecutor for the Broward State Attorney’s Office where she tried over 50 jury trials in the first chair with numerous misdemeanors, differing degrees of felonies and also capital sex battery cases. In the last three years with that office, she was a sex crimes prosecutor.

Nicole then moved on to a private practice where she specialized in Foreclosure Law and as a litigation attorney she defended the rights of financial institutions. This is where she discovered her passion along with success. She continued the same practice to another law firm, which by this time, she had a combined number of 70 non-jury trials between the two firms. In December 2014, Nicole went to another firm where she then practiced Insurance Law. She dealt with PIP and defending insurance companies.

After ten years of practicing law and confident with her experience as an attorney, Nicole decided to open her very own practice which specializes in criminal defense and immigration. With all her expertise in legal matters she believed in running a practice with the right values for any type of legal representation.

Outside of her career, Nicole enjoys giving back to the community and helping others. For many years, she has been involved heavily in several charities among having served as chairperson for the Juntos Foundation.
